Well, Central Market you finally disappointed me...half of the mussels were duds....My faith in Western medicine is not strong enough to trust my hepatitis A vaccine in the face of potentially spoiled shellfish. The remainder of you were delicious. I sauteed one sliced leek, two pressed cloves of garlic in some butter, added a little verjus and then the mussels---finished with a splash of vermouth and a squeeze of lemon. Sliced wheat baguette to sop up the juices.
The burrata I bought in the Central Market's cheese section made up for any seafood shortcomings...I felt like I was at Dough (except for the part where I make my own mozzerella). The arugula and basil sprouts were harvested from my "garden". Topped with a splash of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic, salt and pepper. Gone in a flash. Extra points if you are old enough to get the Squeeze reference.
