Some slightly belated pictures from our ski weekend at Wisp Resort, a generous invite from Lena's family. Ian snowboarded, Sophie skied (for the second time in her life), and I had an awesome time hanging out at the condo, running and knitting. The recent snowfall made it seem like a mountain town, complete with a hill our van failed to negotiate.
We ate heartily--pizza and beer, fettucini alfredo, bean and kale soup, brownies. I remember my skiing days as a teen fondly--first to arrive/last to leave the slopes, but I have become risk-averse in my old age. I just want the trappings of a ski vacation--jacuzzi in the snow, a hot toddy and cute knitwear.
