Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

2012 Sawtooth Riesling, $15

We purchased this bottle based on a recommendation in the Washington Post.  We were introduced to Sawtooth during wine tasting at the Little Washington Winery boot camp and had high expectations.  We were not disappointed.

This riesling achieves a near perfect balance of sweet.  Paired beautifully with salty bread cheese and the spicy eggplant dish Ginny prepared for dinner.  We could drink this all day.

With food or sipped: 4/6 (excellent)

2011 Cantina Zaccagnini Riserva Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, $10

No vintage, Cupcake Prosecco, $14
